An exquisite Genghis Khan experience using homemade lamb

Located in front of the slopes at Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Genghis Khan Lodge is a specialty restaurant that uses homemade lamb. The fresh lamb has no gamey taste at all and harmonizes perfectly with a light sauce that brings out the flavor of the lamb. Enjoy a unique and special moment here, different from Hokkaido's Genghis Khan, served with fresh vegetables in a barbecue style.

It's convenient to be able to stop by right next to the ski slope after skiing. The mutton barbecue made from self-raised sheep has no strong odor typical of lamb, and you can really taste the flavor. It's fun to grill and compare different cuts like loin and belly. The aroma of the fat is gentle, and the light sauce enhances the quality of the meat. The vegetables are fresh and go well with rice, making it easy to keep eating. The staff are kind, and my chilled body quickly warmed up and felt revitalized.
