I was excited by the aroma wafting from the entrance of this calm izakaya, just a short walk from the station. The interior, with a counter and tables, has a relaxed atmosphere with about 30 seats. The service is prompt, and being greeted with bright smiles immediately lifts your spirits. The signature dish, Utsunomiya yakisoba, is savory, and the chewy noodles paired with the rich sauce are a perfect match. There is also a wide variety of side dishes, such as potato salad and deep-fried yam, which make it easy to enjoy drinks. Thanks to the diverse lineup of Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Thai dishes, I felt that it is a place where anyone can have a good time, no matter who you come with.
