A Local Izakaya with a Showa Era Atmosphere

This beloved local spot has been cherished for many years, featuring a retro Showa-era ambiance and a warm atmosphere managed solely by the owner. The carefully temperature-controlled fresh fish sashimi and expertly grilled dishes bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients, making it a popular choice for those looking to enjoy a drink. Conversations with regulars over the counter add to the charm, creating a cozy feeling even for travelers. It's a place where you can listen to old tales of Tenri while savoring the essence of the town.

This is a traditional atmosphere shop located near the arcade, where you feel relaxed as soon as you enter. There are counter seats, and an elderly person manages the place efficiently. The tuna sashimi was perfectly firm and had a soft texture, making it very delicious. The grilled yellowtail collar was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of salt, making it easy to enjoy with drinks. There are also classic snacks like grilled chicken skewers, fried snacks, and edamame, allowing for a casual experience. The warm atmosphere where locals gather is delightful, and I am happy to learn various things about Tenri.
