An Izakaya with a Charming Blend of Japanese and Western Menus and Warm Hospitality

Nishimura, a Japanese-Western tavern, features a counter and table seating equipped with a teppan grill. During the day, it offers hearty lunch options, while at night, guests can enjoy a variety of seasonal seafood and dishes like red meat steak. In the evening, dishes such as firefly squid, oysters, Kumamoto horse sashimi, and scallops grilled with butter are served fresh from the grill, and the tender red meat steak is also highly praised. This beloved local spot provides a comforting experience with its homemade jelly.

It is an izakaya, but they also offer lunch, and the menu is very substantial. The one-plate meal comes with plenty of small dishes, and you can enjoy rice and borscht soup together. The mapo tofu rice bowl is served in a heat-retaining bowl, which is nice because you can eat it warm until the end. The salad, braised chicken wings, and potato salad are also impressive. You can see the teppan from the counter, and the sounds and aromas of the food being prepared are enjoyable. The dishes like steak, scallops, oysters, horse sashimi, and firefly squid are all delicious, and it's also nice to have coffee and homemade jelly after the meal.
