The carefully shaped rice balls are fragrant and bring happiness. The chewy texture of the barley is pleasant, and the saltiness is just right. The side dishes, such as the teriyaki chicken with a plum flavor and the simmered hijiki seaweed and beans, have a homemade feel and are all delicious. The addition of an omelet with zucchini and marinated carrots creates a well-balanced meal. The handwritten labels and the beautiful arrangement catch the eye, making the selection process exciting. The umami of the rice is distinctly felt, and enjoying it with miso soup is comforting.
