You can enjoy carefully prepared Japanese cuisine in a calm atmosphere. The omakase kaiseki flows well from appetizers to desserts, conveying a sense of the seasons. The sashimi of sea bream and spear squid is fresh, and the aroma of grilled shrimp shells is also impressive. The shrimp paste steamed with cherry blossoms in the soup and the simmered bamboo shoots and greens have a gentle flavor. For lunch, there are sets with sashimi and tempura, as well as colorful bento boxes and fried horse mackerel. The thick fried horse mackerel is fluffy and pairs well with tartar sauce, and I was satisfied with the small dishes, chawanmushi, and red miso soup.
