A long-established sushi restaurant passed down since the Showa era

Celebrating its 85th anniversary, "Sushi Nagai" is a long-standing sushi restaurant that has been beloved in the local Fukushima City for many years. The third-generation owner values tradition while warmly welcoming visitors with attentive service. The highlight is the carefully selected sake offerings, which pair perfectly with the fresh local seafood, making for an exquisite dining experience.

Even after moving to Paseo Street, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch set includes a bowl, pickles, coffee, and dessert, providing a sense of satisfaction. The tuna, flounder, amberjack, sweet shrimp, scallops, sea urchin, and salmon roe are all in good condition and delicious. The temperature and firmness of the rice are just right, and the aroma of the seaweed is delightful, making it hard to stop eating. The sashimi platter is also carefully prepared, and the tenderness of the octopus is particularly impressive. It was fun to casually chat with the staff at the counter while taking photos without hesitation.

This is a long-established sushi restaurant with a calm atmosphere. You can enjoy your meal slowly at the counter, and it's easy to choose from the sets and types of nigiri. The sashimi is thick and substantial, and the octopus is tenderly prepared and very delicious. They offer a variety of ingredients such as tuna, flounder, sweet shrimp, sea urchin, and salmon roe, showcasing the quality of the toppings. The aroma of the rice and seaweed is pleasant, and the overall balance is exquisite. The homemade pickles and the flavor of powdered wasabi are also delightful, and I was able to enjoy coffee and sweets after the meal.
