Tairyo Sushi is a beloved local sushi restaurant located just a 5-minute walk from Higashimikuni Station. With both counter seating and tatami rooms, it offers a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy fresh sashimi and nigiri sushi. The sashimi platter featuring octopus, sea bream, yellowtail, and buri pairs exceptionally well with sake, providing a heartwarming experience every time you visit.

Oni wa soto - Fuku wa uchi wa uchi February 3rd was Setsubun, wasn't it? It is a deeply rooted culture in the Kansai region, but nowadays people all over the country eat ehomaki (sushi rolls wrapped in ehoumaki, a traditional Japanese food made with soy sauce and sugar). I've been thinking about where to eat this year... In the end, I decided to go to a local sushi restaurant! Come to think of it, there are several sushi restaurants in my hometown, albeit small! I decided to go to the closest sushi restaurant among them, Tairyo Zushi! The restaurant is a 5-minute walk west from Higashimikuni Station. I think they have been in business since I was a child. The restaurant is not so big and has a counter and a tatami room. They had put up a flyer for ehomaki a few days before, but I bought it without a reservation! When I visited in the evening, I was told that there were only a few left... I was told that they were making ehoumaki all night long! I knew they were busy, but I didn't know they were that busy... I really appreciate your hard work. This Ebomaki is 650 yen per roll. The ingredients are Egg, eel, oboro, shiitake mushroom, oshinko (Japanese pickles), and cucumber wrapped around a thin egg. The nori is moist and crispy! The amount of rice was just right too! Overall, it was light and a little unsatisfying. We ate in silence, facing the direction of west-southwest: ・・・・・ It was still a little hard to eat without talking, so I talked a lot. Maybe I'll come back next time!
