It was a place I casually entered, but I was surprised at how delicious every dish was. The Chinese food made by a chef from the region was carefully prepared, with sweet and sour pork, stir-fried shrimp and eggs, and even shumai all tasting great. The soy sauce-based Tianjin rice bowl looked a bit strong in color, but it had a pleasant texture and a rich flavor. They were also accommodating with spice levels, and the stir-fried chicken and eggplant had a pleasantly spicy kick. The service was a bit unaccustomed to Japanese, but attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience. The soup and the herbal jelly dessert were also impressive, and I can understand why it was bustling with satisfied customers.
