Enjoy exquisite takoyaki and highballs in front of the station

Highball Tavern Takosuke is an izakaya located in front of Yamagata Station, where you can enjoy takoyaki and highballs. The fluffy and creamy takoyaki pairs perfectly with the highballs, making it a favorite among many customers. The interior has a kitschy atmosphere, making it a casual spot to drop by.

You can casually drop by since it's easy to enter right in front of the station, even while on the move. The interior has a pop atmosphere, providing a space where you can relax with a highball in hand. The freshly made takoyaki is crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and even without sauce, the 'mappa' highlights the flavor of the dough. The Shonai-style yakisoba with sauce is rich and made it hard to stop eating. It's also a nice point that you can enjoy local Yamagata cuisine all at once. The staff's attentive service was pleasant, and I was able to enjoy my time until the very end.
