A renowned yakitori restaurant with the sounds of taiko drums

Sengoku Yakitori Ieyasu Gion Branch is a long-established yakitori restaurant with over 60 years of history. Located in Gion, Fukuoka City, you are welcomed by the sound of taiko drums upon entering. The carefully grilled yakitori, made using binchotan charcoal, is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, allowing you to enjoy it in a retro Showa-era atmosphere.

It is located in a place that is easy to access from JR Hakata Station, making it convenient. The interior has a typical yakitori restaurant atmosphere, with a spacious layout and table seating, making it comfortable to spend time. The fresh cabbage served at the beginning comes with a tangy sauce that makes you want to ask for more. The skewers include a wide variety such as pork belly, chicken skin, gizzard, shiso-wrapped, asparagus-wrapped, and enoki-wrapped, all grilled to a fragrant perfection. You can also enjoy beef skirt, red shrimp, and tender pig's feet, providing a high level of satisfaction. Welcomed with energetic calls, I was able to see the careful grilling of the skewers right in front of me, allowing me to enjoy the experience until the very end.
