Kikuya Chanté d'Or Koukokufu

Each sweet potato from Oita Prefecture, 'Beniharuka', is carefully washed, steamed with the skin on in a steam kettle, then further baked in a pot to bring out the sweetness. A special sweet bean paste made with butter and egg yolks is wrapped in a separate dough, placed in a mold, and baked slowly to create a 'realistic and more delicious sweet potato dessert'.

A rich pudding made with Jersey milk from Aso Koguni, accented with a slightly bitter caramel sauce. Sandwiched between fluffy pancake-like dorayaki skin with custard cream.

A dorayaki sandwich made with homemade sweet red bean paste, using Hokkaido-grown 'Ogura' azuki beans cooked slowly over time, and honey added to the fluffy baked dorayaki skin. This is a specialty dorayaki from Kikuya that has been protected since its founding.

A baked confectionery wrapped in pie crust with red bean paste mixed with crushed walnuts. The 'Bondia' features a buttery aroma, the texture of walnuts, and a rich flavor that is not too sweet. It was created in 1978 to commemorate the sister city relationship between the city of Aveiro in Portugal and Oita. 'Bondia' means 'good morning' or 'have a good day' in Portuguese.
