This restaurant, where bamboo shoot dishes take center stage, has a spacious and comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of an old-fashioned home. The bamboo shoot sashimi has a subtle hint of kombu aroma, and its clear sweetness is well conveyed. The tempura has a light and fluffy batter, and its delightful fragrance brings a smile to your face. The simmered dishes are surprisingly tender, far softer than their appearance suggests, and are infused with umami. The vinegared dishes have a fun texture, and the peanut salad leaves a lasting impression with its gentle richness. The 'bamboo shoot buckwheat' with diced pieces fried and coated in a soy sauce glaze is also irresistibly delicious, making it hard to stop eating.
