In a calming interior that preserves the charm of an old house, a variety of homemade side dishes are lined up. The style of choosing by weight makes it fun to pick a little bit of what you like. You can eat right at the tatami mat seats, and takeout is convenient as well. Dishes like simmered hijiki seaweed, fried eggplant in broth, and marinated scallops are full of vegetables, with gentle seasoning that is comforting. There is also rice, miso soup, and seasoned rice, which provide a satisfying combination. The reassurance of not using additives, along with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, is delightful, and in the end, I even enjoyed sweet rice balls and pudding.
