Homey and Friendly French Cuisine

Goute is a French restaurant quietly nestled in a residential area of Tsuyama, housed in a renovated single-family home. With a theme of blending Japanese and Western styles, you can enjoy beautifully presented appetizers, corn potage, and baked fish dishes, all rich in flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The handmade feel of the interior and the friendly service create a warm atmosphere for visitors. It's an ideal place to spend a heartwarming moment in a space filled with pleasant sunlight.

It's a hidden gem located in a residential area, and the calm atmosphere is very pleasant. You enter by taking off your shoes at the entrance, which makes you feel as if you've been invited into someone's home. The staff are friendly, and I was able to enjoy my time comfortably from start to finish. You can choose between fish or meat as the main dish, and it's great that you can enjoy both in the course. The soups, such as corn potage and minestrone, are made with care, and the white fish meunière and salmon en papillote are both fragrant and delicious. The combination of bread and olive oil pairs well, and I was also intrigued by the pasta set.
