A kappo restaurant that evokes the charm of white walls

Kappo Nemoto is characterized by its white-walled exterior that retains the essence of a traditional ryokan. The interior features a calm decor, showcasing works by local artists from Tamashima, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Each dish is meticulously prepared with care, and the sashimi and tempura are particularly exquisite. Guests can enjoy a special moment dining in a serene setting while admiring the beautiful views of the garden.

The building has white walls, with two entrances that clearly separate the dining area and the tatami room. There are private tatami rooms of various sizes, allowing for a calm and relaxing experience. The atmosphere of the courtyard is also pleasant, and you can feel a relaxed ambiance. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) is generously filled with ingredients like lily bulbs, ginkgo nuts, and shrimp, offering a gentle flavor. The zaru soba (cold buckwheat noodles) is well-chilled and aromatic, and you can even enjoy the soba-yu (noodle broth) at the end. The katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl) has a light and crispy coating, and the rice soaked in the sauce is delightful.
