A warm izakaya loved by the locals

Zazakana is a cozy space centered around a sunken kotatsu counter, where everyone can relax and enjoy drinks and meals. The bright and cheerful master provides seasonal recommendations along with pleasant conversation, and there is a wide variety of dishes and drinks available. The inviting atmosphere allows not only local regulars but also new customers to quickly feel at home, and you can enjoy a diverse selection of sake and Ryukyu awamori.

It's close to the station and has a casual atmosphere that's easy to enter. The style requires you to take off your shoes when you enter, and the traditional shoe rack has a nice charm. The interior continues deep inside, with a comfortable counter at the center, and there are also table seats in the back, making it convenient to use. The friendly atmosphere is welcoming even to first-time visitors, which is delightful. The seasonal vegetable small dishes, freshly made tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet), and piping hot menchikatsu (fried meat patties) are all delicious and spark lively conversation. There are also brands of sake and shochu that are not listed on the menu, and asking the staff for recommendations leads to new discoveries and is enjoyable.
