I found this place near the port right after getting off the ferry, and I was drawn in by its nostalgic atmosphere. The small interior, with just a raised area and tables, is lively with both tourists and locals. The mixed bowl of octopus and shirasu (young sardines) features boiled octopus and large shirasu that pair well with the rice, and the gentle saltiness makes it hard to stop eating. The ramen with a clear amber-colored broth has a delicate flavor from chicken bones and seafood, which spreads pleasantly, and it pairs excellently with the smooth, medium-thick curly noodles. The menu is wide-ranging, including fried foods and curry, making it easy to find something for everyone, even those with children. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff responded promptly and with smiles, making the wait time feel cozy and contributing to a warm dining experience.
