Entering a café with impressive bright blue walls and large windows, I was first excited by the beautiful view. Sitting on the terrace, the refreshing air of Aso was pleasant, allowing me to spend the waiting time leisurely. The handmade Basque cheesecake was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, spreading happiness with every bite. When paired with the mildly bitter house-roasted coffee, the balance of sweetness and roastiness was outstanding. The small showcase displayed an array of enticing sweets like chocolate terrine, matcha Basque, and lemon cake, all of which were captivating and made it hard to choose. Enjoying carefully crafted sweets and coffee while gazing at the tranquil scenery made me feel very content.
