In a cozy Japanese restaurant located in a back alley of Danbara, the moment you enter, the scent of wood envelops you, instantly putting you at ease. The interior, centered around a counter, is quiet, creating a very pleasant atmosphere that allows you to focus on the food. The first dish served, a salad of spring greens and mushrooms, has a gentle flavor that heightened my anticipation for the next plate. The sashimi platter stands out for its freshness, and the thickness of the slices shows a commitment to quality that makes me smile involuntarily. The crispy eggplant dumplings and the wasabi-infused Japanese-style potato salad are both innovative, making it impossible to put down my chopsticks. To finish, I enjoyed a bowl of grilled rice balls in tea, savoring the lingering taste of sake, and spent a leisurely, happy night.
