Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant yellow-gold in color, very rich and full of ripe, exotic fig, apricot, peach and nectarine. Sweet and polished, with a touch of herbs, it glides across the palate and, for all its richness, the acidity keeps the flavors lively. Liquid gold!

Golden yellow color with amber highlights. On the nose it offers a sweet bouquet of dry and candied fruits such as figs, citrus and apricots together with sensations of honey and pastries. On the palate it is moderately sweet, smooth, fresh, with a long aromatic finish. A delicious way to end a meal!

"97 Points Wine Enthusiast The latest incarnation of this famous Champagne now comes from Roderer's own vineyards, a good portion of which are run on biodynamic lines. This still-young wine has great depth and richness, a beautiful balance between ripe fruit and crisp texture that make it alive, crisp and bright. As it matures, it will deepen and become even more intense."

97 Points Wine Advocate - Aromas of clear honey, crisp green orchard fruit, white peach, pastry cream and dried white flowers introduce the 2012 Cristal, a full-bodied, concentrated and powerful wine that's built for the cellar. Broader, more textural and more muscular than the 2008 Cristal, with seemingly even greater reserves of structuring dry extract, the 2012 is incisive and searingly chalky. This is the first Cristal produced exclusively from organically farmed fruit, and it marks the opening of a new chapter for Louis Roderer. The blend is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, vinified without malolactic fermentation and disgorged with 7.5 grams per liter dosage. Chef de Caves Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon has once again excelled himself.

Yellow in color with greenish reflections. On the nose it displays a fruity bouquet with aromas of green apple and pink grapefruit. A smooth, crispy, extremely elegant palate with a long, fresh and tasty finish. Excellent as an aperitif or with fish dishes.

"This elegant rosé is made with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two international grape varietals that have well adapted to the Trentino territory, in the heart of Dolomites. The 2013 vintage shows a pale pink color with light copper reflections. Complex aromas of red fruit (blackberry, cherry and raspberry) with notes of white fruit and pineapple, and very slight yeasty hint. Delicate and fragrant, with an elegant and soft structure on the palate and lively acidity and minerality. A persistent perlage, fine and elegant."

Brilliant straw-gold color, the effervescence is dense and persistent with fine vibrant bubbles. The nose is aromatically expressive and lifted with aromas of toast, wildflowers, stone fruit and fresh pineapple with notes of minerality. The palate is immediately appealing with its lively presence and vibrant mousse. The mid-weight palate portrays honey-suckle, nectarine, with toasty compliments of light spice and river-stone in the clean and lifted finish.

"Elegant, complex, and fruity, accompanied by a delicate aroma of citrus fruits and lychees. Light pink, silky and radiant color, The Syltbar sparkling rose is made of 100% Merlot which gives this Sparkling Rose a robust, round flavor that is delicious to the last drop. Overall, it is a delightful, well-balanced, clean, clear and creamy wine. Vegan and vegetarian friendly, no sugar added, no sulfites added"

Delicate aromas of citrus, pear, melon, lemon and almonds. Elegant bubbles enliven the flavors, making them dance on the palate. The body is light, with a lovely balance between crisp acidity and a touch of sweetness. The hint of minerals in the finish is a classic quality of the Prosecco grape, which has been grown in the Tre Venezie region of Northern Italy since Roman times.

Finding a place at the lighter end of the Rosé spectrum and, in fact, a wine that could easily pass for a Blanc de Noirs, this lightly yeasty version fixes on energetic, slightly juicy, young fruit as its main motif. It is briskly balanced, but its ample acidity enlivens without ever once seeming sharp, and it is wholly free of the astringency that marks its more vinous mates.

90 Points Wine Enthusiast - A clean pale-pink in color, this bottling offers bright berry aromas alongside citrus spray and wet cement. There is a great chalky core to the sip, where squeezed tangerine meets with a touch of pressed raspberry.

92 Points Wine Enthusiast - Opening in gorgeously effusive aromas of jasmine and cherry blossom, this impressively light, bright wine is layered in grapefruit, blood orange and cherry on the palate. A lingering taste of wet stone emphasizes its mineral component and lends to an enduring freshness.

90 Points James Suckling Stands out for its extreme sensuality. Its pale pink color with peach nuances immediately expresses its intriguing personality. The sharp and unmistakable bouquet floods the senses with intoxicating Mediterranean aromas that meld with the fragrances of fresh and ripe fruit. September peach bursts forth followed by floral notes with subtle scents of rose. The result is an extremely mellow, fine and elegant nose. In the mouth, the fruity notes return, with the addition of captivating touches of citrus such as pink grapefruit. Little by little, a tangy undertone elegantly makes its entrance into this whirlwind of flavor sensations. Full, silky and deep, with an after-taste that explodes in a succession of fresh and persistent aromas.

With a light body and refreshing lift of tropical fruit, this wine's vibrant, lively palate is equally matched by its satisfying complexity of flavors. Luscious and juicy, it offers a balanced expression of pineapple, melon and citrus. This interesting and rather subtle wine smells like white pepper and pistachios and tastes like white peaches. It stays dry on the palate, while the texture spreads flavors smoothly for a sense of richness.

Elegant on the nose with it’s aromas of peach, mango and grapefruit. The tropical notes are translated in the mouth with some lime flavors too. The mouthfeel is full at the beginning and it softens with a delicate finish.

92 Points Wine Enthusiast - Blended with 5% Sémillon, this wine is lushly aromatic in jasmine, flint and dried herb. A tiny hint of fresh-cut grass nips at the edge of the light-bodied palate, with fresh apricot and peach at the core.

A delightful Pinot Grigio to be enjoyed for its aromatic crisp green apple, mineral and honeysuckle notes. Perfect to complement with appetizers, white meats and fish.

Dry and crisp with characteristic almond overtones, this 100% varietal wine features lively fruit flavors and a smooth finish. Try this wine with appetizers, seafood and light pasta dishes.

Floral notes caress the nose, with nuances of pear and honeydew melon. Citrus flavors are evident on the palate delivering complex flavors of green apple, orange and faint lemon.

Scarpetta Pinot Grigio showcases some of the best sites in Friuli-Venezia Giulia for this aromatic varietal — starting with the light, gravely soils of the Grave region. This gives it a crisp, clean minerality. Additionally, 30% of their Pinot Grigio is planted on "Ponca" soil in the Colli Orientali on steep hillsides. The combination of the Grave and Colli Orientali lets them produce a wine which has body, bright acidity, and great minerality.

Wine born from experimentation: Nerello Mascalese red berry offers a fresh and vibrant white wine of great flavor with wonderful notes of tropical fruit and a pleasant mineral closure.

Light golden yellow color. Floral aromatics of honeysuckle, jasmine, white blossom, pineapple mint; Meyer lemon, verbena, mandarin, and tangerine, pink lady apple. Simple, pleasing texture in the mouth, with lively acid that hits upfront and is followed behind by fuji apple and Asian pear flavors.

This is an elegant, classically styled Chardonnay, brimming in structure and a light touch of ripeness. Green apple, stone and apple blossom tones rise to the fore of the nose and palate. It's low in oak and supple in texture.

93 Points Tasting Panel - Fermented in stainless steel (12%) and a mix of French and Hungarian oak (88%), this wine ages seven months in barrel. Tropical amomas of pineapple and gardenia continue on the palate, along with vanilla, jasmine, and salty cashew brittle. Creamy with vivacious acidity and a finish of lemon drop and cinnamon.

92 Points James Suckling - Attractive freshness and gently flinty citrus fruits. Aromas of melon and hazelnut nougat follow and lead to a palate with lemon, grapefruit, grilled peaches and nectarines. Layered and textural. Has attractive freshness and composure.

90 Points Wilfred Wong - This wine offers ripe citrus and plenty of creamy oak in its aromas and flavors. Its rich palate invites a pairing of lobster in a cream sauce.

96 Points James Suckling - Freshly squeezed nectarines, dried jasmine, orange blossom, vanilla, peach flan, dried mangoes, jack fruit and plenty of bread dough. Full body, a very round and oily mouthfeel, expansive and commanding acidity and a long finish.

Wonderfully balanced example of Amarone. Strong nose of dark red fruit and blackberry with coffee, leather and spice. Enjoy with a heavier sauce and pasta.

Balanced nice Amarone. Strong nose of dark red fruit and blackberry with coffee, leather and spice.

Made with organically farmed grapes, this opens with aromas of violet, dark-skinned berry and new leather. The concentrated, balanced palate delivers blackberry jam, baked plum, licorice and ground black pepper. Solid but velvety tannins provide the backbone.

Delicious, juicy red wine. This wine delivers juicy red and black aromas and flavors.

Shows a slightly aged personality with toasted hazelnut, dried blackberry, dusty mineral and campfire ash. Barbera maintains bright primary fruit for a long time, but this wine (tasting four years after the harvest) is just beginning to show that added complexity of time, especially on the bouquet. In the mouth, however, Donna Margherita is surprising lively, bright and fresh.

91 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - Outer quote mark You can't go wrong with a classic wine like the 2013 Barbaresco Meruzzano. This pristine Nebbiolo reveals variety-driven tones of crushed granite and flint with finely-tuned berry notes of cassis, wild strawberry and rose hip. The aromas show a very clean and focused quality. In the mouth, this pretty Barbaresco offers good dimension and finesse with silky, linear tannins.

92 Points James Suckling - Very fresh and exotic with dark berries, dried flowers and hints of hazelnuts. Full-bodied, tight and linear with a racy and crisp finish.

96 Wine Enthusiast - Enticing scents of ripe wild berry, star anise, menthol and fragrant blue flower mingle with whiffs of camphor and espresso. The smooth, precise palate offers crushed raspberry, Marasca cherry, licorice and dried botanical herbs alongside fine-grained tannins. Fresh acidity lifts the finish.

Clear Medium Brick-Red Brown colour. Clean Pronounced aromas of Plum, Red Cherries, Earth, and Smoke. Dry, Medium acid and High tannins. Medium-body and flavours of red fruit, earth, smoke and hints of vanilla with a long lasting finish.

94 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - This is a nicely layered expression, with tart berry notes followed by toasted nut, garden soil and dusty mineral or limestone that add pretty contouring and framing to the dark fruit at the core. Those mineral notes recall chalkboard or pencil shaving, and that wide spectrum of aromatic layering also stacks up tall, with lifted and focused intensity. Rating: 94+

"95 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Here is a dense and meaty Tusan red that flaunts its immediate power, structure and intensity. The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva gli Angeli is robust and deep thanks to a generous offering of dark fruit, spice and tar-like aromas. Fruit is carefully selected for this wine, and the grapes are fermented in stainless steel. Post fermentation, the wine goes into large Slavonian oak casks for four years. The finish is soft and supple with sweet berry flavors. This wine has made an impressive jump forward in this vintage."

96 Points James Suckling - Very pretty ripe and dried fruit with blackberries and sweet cherries. It's full-bodied with depth of fruit and creamy, polished tannins. Extremely compact and long. Pure fruit at the end. A gorgeous wine.

98 Points Wine Enthusiast - Outer quote mark Aromas of woodland berry, new leather, blue flower and a baby powder shape the enticing nose on this fragrant red. Juicy and bright, the polished, delicious palate doles out crushed raspberry, cherry compote and baking spice alongside taut, refined tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced while a licorice note graces the finish.

93 Points James Suckling - Beautiful depth to this Chianti Classico with cherry, wet earth and mushroom aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, tight and lightly chewy with firmness and focus.

93 Points James Suckling - This shows beautiful freshness and poise, thanks to vivid dark cherries and bright herbs. Medium body with fine-grained tannins, loads of tangy fruit and a finely tuned yet structured finish. Salty aftertaste. Delicious.

The Tenuta di Arceno Chianti Classico is unmistakably Tuscan in origin, offering a level of depth, power and concentration that is rare for its classification. The fruit, mostly Sangiovese, comes from some of the coolest blocks on the Italian estate, which accounts for the red wine’s vibrant acidity. Pair with antipasti, margherita or pepperoni pizza, spaghetti bolognese, eggplant or chicken parmigiana. • Appellation: Chianti Classico, Italy • Alcohol Content: 14.5% ABV • Aromas of Red Fruits, Violets, Earth • Flavors of Cherry, Spice • Medium Oak Influence from Barrel Aging • Dry, Bright Red Wine that is Purple in Color • Pair with antipasti, margherita or pepperoni pizza, spaghetti bolognese, eggplant or chicken parmigiana

92 Points James Suckling - Lovely purity of fruit here, especially when you consider the vintage, ranging from citrus to raspberries to iodine. The juicy and succulent tannins are just the right counterpoint to the rather tangy acidity, and this ends medium-chewy and grainy.

92 points James Suckling This has lovely dark plums, fresh herbs and violets. On the palate it’s tightly knit and elegant with a firm row of tannin, running through layers of pretty berries.

94 Points Tasting Panel - Ripe and bright roses and cherries unite on the nose. White-peppered cranberries arrive on the first sip, with red tea and cinnamon surging forth on a lengthy flow. Juicy cherry and dried floral tones enter mid-palate, where they're lit up with gorgeous acidity and intriguing savory qualities—dried oranges plus an echo of new leather—that persist.

"92 Points James Suckling This red shows aromas of black cherries, dark plums and sweet licorice. Hints of earth, too. Full body with polished and chewy tannins. A slightly bigger style of Chianti Classico here. "

Deep plum and black cherry flavors are shrouded by toasty oak, along with leather and leafy underbrush notes. Hefty tannins offer support, but the weight is offset by sweet fruit and a lengthy aftertaste.

A deep, brilliant and intense violet-red color. The nose reveals decisive cherry and raspberry aromas, followed by spicy hints of black pepper. Its main characteristic is its pleasantness, which combines elegance with balance and a pronounced softness. A delightful wine, perfect with mildly spiced cured meats and full flavored pasta dishes.

An attractive bouquet of acidic ripe cherries and plum, with pleasant sweeter notes of cocoa and vanilla. A velvety texture with notes of lush, ripe fruit. This wine offers a robust finish.

It's hard to pull away from the glass, as the 2019 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Podere wafts up notes of crushed violets, sweet spice, blackberries and wet stone. It's soft and round, further soothing the senses with a pure display of ripe red berries as cooling acids maintain freshness. Purple-tinged florals and salty minerals linger, making for a pleasant conclusion to such a satisfying glass of no-frills Montepulciano.

Distinctive aromas and flavors of dried berries and spices follow through to a full body, soft tannins and a lovely intensity of strawberries in the aftertaste.

The 2017 Etna Rosso Barrus from Azienda Agricola Contino is obtained from the vinification of the best grapes of NERELLO MASCALESE 90%, NERELLO CAPPUCCIO 10% whose fermentation takes place in steel for about 15 days, after racking it passes into French oak barrels for a 12 months aging. The vineyard is In the municipality of Trecastagni at the foot of Mount Gorna in the Etna area in Sicily. The character of soil type is of volcanic origin, mainly sandy and rich in organic mineral. The color is ruby red, the nose has notes of berries, cherry, spicy notes, the taste is fresh, savory, and persistent tannin.

"Pòtta 'ccà" is an idiom from the town of Modica in Sicily, where the winemaker Candido was born. The name of the wine means "Bring here!”, it is an invitation to fill the glass with this varietal delicacy from the southwest of Sicily. This great wine is made of 100% Petit Verdot. To gently extract the color and tannins during fermentation, the winemaker uses the Délestage technique, an intensive immersion of contact the juice with the skin of the grape. The color is a garnet red with violet reflections. The bouquet shows harmonious notes of fragrant blackberries and rose petals. The palate is flattered by a velvety texture and balanced tannins.

95 Points James Suckling - There is so much red berry fruit here such as redcurrants and raspberries as well as more ripe notes of ash, tar, dried rose petals and spices. The palate is quite rich and dense yet very much kept fresh by tangy fruit and pretty acidity. Long finish.

Lively aromas lift from the glass and are highlighted with handfuls of black cherry, licorice, burnt caramel and vanilla. On the palate, this Cabernet is fresh and polished and illuminates layers of ripe fruit and comforting spice. Ripe flavors of black cherry and cassis are complimented by warm pie crust and drift into a lingering flavor of preserved fruit.

92 Points Wine & Spirits - Out of the darkness, smoky wood esters emerge first, then a scent of red currants, sweet and soft. Come back to the wine a day later, and the flavors have clarified around those currants, light and lithe. This is a gentle cabernet that may not appear to need aging, but it will reward those who allow it some time.

Decanter-Napa Valley, California - ""Rich, deep red garnet color with aromas and flavors of black currant, ripe plum, and blackberry. Notes of lavender, cocoa, and leather are layered with black pepper and vanilla bean. Full-bodied and intense, this wine is balanced and well-structured...""

95 Points Jeb Dunnuck - Readers looking to get a taste of the impeccable quality and style from Schrader at a more affordable price point would do well to check out the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Double Diamond. Coming all from Oakville, it has a classic Cabernet nose of black and blue fruits, green tobacco, cedar pencil, damp earth, and chocolate. It's not over the top and has beautiful varietal character as well as medium to full body, ripe yet present tannins, good overall freshness, and a great finish. This is beautifully done and well worth a case purchase. I'd lean toward drinking bottles over the coming 10-12 years, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve longer.

98 Points Tasting Panel - Further proof that Paso Robles has the ability to craft some of the world's finest Cabernet Sauvignons, this is the third vintage of this wine. It's a tribute to founder Jerry Lohr from esteemed blocks of Clone 337 in the high-elevation calcareous soils of the Beck Vineyard, located in the region's Creston District. Blended with 11% Malbec and aged for 18 months in French oak, it was then transferred to a new set of barrels for a "flash" of two months to accentuate its ageworthiness. Rich, ripe plum accents the aromas and leads to a seamless palate of dry, dusty tannins and Old World acidity. Coffee bean and dark chocolate intertwine with dark summer berries and spiced tobacco. It's a teeth gripper 'til the end.

This wine was specially selected and blended from the superb 2013 vintage in Paso Robles. Blend: 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot Critical Acclaim 93 points Wine Enthusiast This celebration of legendary Jerry Lohr’s 80th birthday is a winner on all fronts. A zesty, uplifting nose of blackberry, cola, licorice, leather and clay leads into a cohesively woven palate of soy, shiitake dust, roast beef and dark chocolate. The acidity is well-measured, the tannins are chalky and grippy and it’s powerful without being flashy.”

The dense deep purple color hints at the intensity in this wine. Aromas of sweet vanilla and pie spice layered over black cherries dominate the nose, accompanied by cassis, red plum and a savory touch of sarsaparilla root. The round, rich entry builds quickly to a full structured mouthfeel with consistent acidity. There is a clean, elegant progression of ripe black cherry, black currant, and juicy dark plum, finishing with clove and vanilla, a hint of marzipan and a trickle of cherry juice. The big structure of this wine should have it drinking well into 2040 or beyond. Blend: 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot

"Perfect, classic, abundant" describe the 2012 vintage. Quality and quantity were in great supply in the 2012 harvest. Beautiful Spring, Summer and Fall weather highlighted the growing season. With very few concerns, winegrowers and winemakers were able to sit back and allow Mother Nature to strut her stuff – and strut she did. The vintage was, literally, a mirror image of the classic 2005 vintage – climate–wise, yield-wise and quality-wise. Great aroma development, phenomenal extraction and unctuous flavors were the result of patience and creativity. The big crop required a great deal of flexibility and ingenuity in the cellar as tank, barrel and cellar space became squeezed toward the end of harvest. But we all endured and made some memorable wines from a spectacular vintage. It is one for the ages!

Beautiful aromas of blackberry and boysenberry pie, cassis, licorice and sweet anise, pair gorgeously with hints of lightly toasted oak. A silky entry transitions to a very smooth midpalate with flavors of mixed berry fruit, lightly toasted oak, and sweet licorice. Well-structured and polished, this wine is filled with juicy acid and fine grain tannins that melt into a long mouthwatering finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc.

95 Points Wine & Spirits - As Stag's Leap Wine Cellars sets out to celebrate its 50th anniversary, this vintage of Fay cabernet may be the best wine I've tasted from that historic vineyard—the site and the wine that initially convinced Warren Winiarski to purchase the rocky hillside next to Nathan Fay's vineyard. The soils at Fay are alluvial, remnants of an ancient riverbed, unlike the rock that eroded off the Stags Leap Escarpment and collected at the base of the hill at S.L.V., Winiarski's original vineyard. In 2017, Fay is the elegant beauty. There's nothing pushy or potent about its complexity, just a waterfall of minerals and fruits that seems to continue long after each taste. It would be hard not to fall in love with this wine's svelte refinement. Open a bottle and let it lift your mood.

100 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill has a very deep garnet-purple color. To smell the nose is like hearing angels trumpeting at the pearly gates! The most incredible and evocative scents come spilling out of the glass, conjuring notions of freshly crushed black raspberries, wild blueberries, red and black currant compote and raspberry leaves with subtler hints of roses, violets, tilled soil, cigar box and fragrant earth. Medium to full-bodied and achingly graceful in the mouth, the perfumed black and red fruits seemingly dance on the palate with a very firm yet beautifully fine-grained texture and just the right amount of freshness, finishing with epic persistence. Hallelujah—this is perfection!!

99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard slides seductively out of the glass with the most gorgeous notions of Chinese five spice, plum preserves, crème de cassis and potpourri plus hints of oolong tea, spearmint and cedar chest. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and oh-so-decadent in the mouth, the generously spiced black fruit preserves, the firm, plush frame and the finish are simply epic.

96 points Wine Enthusiast The second vintage release of J. Lohr's Signature wine, first produced to commemorate founder Jerry Lohr's 80th birthday. Rich aromas of stewed black plum, blackberry pie, vanilla, clove and prune cake show on the nose. The mouthfeel is rich overall, but with firm tannins in the background that lend structure to the strawberry and blackberry flavors, graced by hints of wood smoke, peppercorn and licorice.

100 points James Suckling Outer quote mark Stunning depth, power, purity and elegance. The blackcurrants and plums are fresh and intense on the nose with blueberries and gently herbal notes, too. The palate has a keenly articulated array of vibrant tannins that hold long, fresh and pure. It invokes a sense of wonderment at the finish. So long and so pure. This blend of 77 per cent cabernet sauvignon, 11 per cent merlot, seven per cent petit verdot and five percent cabernet franc, is just at the start of a wonderful journey. Try from 2021. Inner quote mark (12/2018)

97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate This wine was too much—too much like a caricature for me,” winemaker Michael Silacci confessed to me while tasting the 2015 Opus One together again recently. “So, when we took it out of barrel to prepare for bottling we added a few more components.” Medium to deep garnet-purple color, it bursts from the glass with beautiful violets, lavender, rose hip tea and chocolate-covered cherries scents over a core of crushed blackberries, black cherries, cassis and iron ore. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully bright and crunchy, with bags of fresh black and red berries and a wonderfully plush, finely grained texture, finishing long and fragrant.

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Bottled in July 2017 and composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the Dominus 2015 Proprietary Red Wine leaps from the glass with notes of fresh wild blueberries, crushed blackberries and black currant juice with touches of wild thyme, underbrush, iron ore and aniseed with wafts of lavender and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has incredible energy and vivacity, with the firm, pixelated tannins and lively backbone skillfully framing the muscular fruit, finishing with wonderful length and depth.

100 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 75% new French oak, the 2016 J Daniel Cuvee is deep garnet-purple in color and offers up exuberant notes of crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, wild blueberries, violets and unsmoked cigars with touches of garrigue, fragrant earth, powdered cinnamon, black olives and tree bark. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house, with a solid frame of firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness supporting the taut, muscular fruit, finishing long and minerally.

94 Points James Suckling - Attractive combination of green olives, dark fruit and tea follow through to a full body with round, savory tannins. Refined, flavorful finish.

91 points Wine Enthusiast - Dark aromas of smoked and roasted black fruit and meat meet even more savory tones of teriyaki and pepper on the nose of this bottling. There's firm tension to the sip, where the rich mouthfeel carries smoky oak, vanilla and caramel flavors, with lingering mint on the finish.

Bright and youthful, with a lovely shimmering red ruby color, this Pinot Noir is fresh and vibrant. Fruit-forward aromas of ripe strawberry, red raspberry and Bing cherry sit alongside baking spice notes of cinnamon, clove and vanilla, with a hint of floral perfume. On the plate, red fruits drive the flavor profile with notes of macerated strawberry, red currant, dark raspberry and red cherry, supported by soft tannins and a silky finish.

93 Points Wine Enthusiast - Exotic aromas of cranberry, plum, sandalwood, myrrh and lavender makes for an elegant entry to this bottling by the winemaking team of Steve Fennell and Laura Roach. Layered flavors of tart cherry and pomegranate are laced throughout by dried herbs, while the tannic structure is firm but not obtrusive.

Having spent nine months in new French oak, this wine offers a mix of bright acidity and crunchy red fruit. It uncovers white pepper, lavender and forest floor accents as it develops, yielding a wine that shows tremendous value for the quality.

This is a wonderful expression of Pinot Noir, coming from this area. Poppy's Reserve offers distinctive aromas of raspberries, dried strawberries, baking spices, and violets in a lovely coat of mocha, sweet vanilla and a splash of bacon fat resting on the plush, silky finish.

Red garnet in color, the 2016 Edizione Pennino Zinfandel exhibits warm aromas of ripe, brambly blackberries, with notes of allspice, clove, and white pepper. The entry on the palate is opulent, yet fresh, yielding to dusty, well-textured tannins that carry the wine into a long, softly-rounded finish.

Zinfandel grown on the hillsides of the Sonoma Valley produces personality packed wines. The temperature and length of growing days offer enough heat to build fresh fruit flavors without being over ripe but still develops hints of pepper spice like you would find in a cooler climate.

Spicy cola nut, black pepper, and briary patch aromas. Medium-bodied with a broad mid-palate filled with fresh fig, ripe black, and boysenberry fruit, and nuances of both cinnamon stick and savory spices. Well-balanced with bright acidity which helps carry the ripe fruit flavors through to a moderately long finish with vanilla and spicy flavors that linger.

92 Points Wine Spirits - Out of the darkness, smoky wood esters emerge first, then a scent of red currants, sweet and soft.

95 Points Wine Spirits - As Stag's Leap Wine Cellars sets out to celebrate its 50th anniversary, this vintage of Fay cabernet may be the best wine I've tasted from that historic vineyard—the site and the wine that initially convinced Warren Winiarski to purchase the rocky hillside next to Nathan Fay's vineyard.
