Super cheap shaved ice in my hometown It was really hot this year, and I ate a lot of cold sweets! But there are no shaved ice stores or ice cream shops in my hometown... There it is! I didn't know there was shaved ice made by an ice shop! And I heard it's cheap and delicious! Let's go there as soon as possible! Ice shop Kameda Shoten [[attached(1,center)]] Located about 15 minutes walk from Higashimikuni station. Well, no one takes the train all the way there, right? I guess most people drive by or are locals. When we visited, the place was full of neighborhood children and families! It's so hot, you just want something cold to eat! 14 variations of shaved ice! [[attached(1,center)]] Syrups are almost ready-made, and taste like the ones you used to eat at street stalls when you were a kid. But all for 150 yen! Isn't that super cheap? For an additional charge, you can even add toppings such as red bean paste and condensed milk! It's hard to decide which toppings to choose! After much deliberation, I had the yogurt and my partner had the green tea with red bean paste topping! [[attached(1,center)]] [[attached(1,center)]] I rushed home to eat it! It is served in a nostalgic plastic bowl! Plenty of syrup is poured over the top, which is a nice touch! The yogurt I had was refreshing with just the right amount of sourness and sweetness. The ice is from an ice shop, so it's soft and fluffy, without any jaggedness. The matcha is also ready-made, but has a nostalgic flavor! The red bean paste and matcha make you feel full. I've used them several times this summer, and they've been cheap and nostalgic! I wonder if they have squid pancakes too! Maybe I'll try that in the winter. Thanks for the food! Cool down for 200 yen @Higashimikuni | Happy eating good food! Ice shop selling shaved ice at the eaves. There used to be a lot of stores like that, where kids would gather... There is such a store in my neighborhood. Kameda Shoten They have shaved ice, ikayaki (squid pancakes), and takosen (octopus balls)! Both are inexpensive, priced in the 200 yen range, and crowded with neighborhood children in the summer! Shaved ice is 200 yen! A few years ago it was 150 yen, but that's cheap enough! The syrups are not the modern fruit-filled type, but the old-fashioned syrups! With so many varieties to choose from, it's hard to decide! ◾️Yogurt 200 yen◾️Uji 200 yen Milk + 50 yen Azuki + 100 yen All in this nostalgic frappe container! I often order a yogurt and a cola. I've had them several times this summer too! I hope places like this don't disappear! Thanks for the food!
