In a calm space that makes use of a historic building, I felt excited from the beginning of the course. The French cuisine incorporating local ingredients is visually appealing, and each dish is rich in flavor. The grilled Spanish mackerel, the Jerusalem artichoke potage, and the squid ink risotto all flowed well and were satisfying. The rich taste of the Ise lobster and the roasting of the Ehime beef particularly left a lasting impression. The pottery from Tobe enhances the dishes, allowing for visual enjoyment as well. I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely at a table with a view of the castle outside the window, and the homemade plum soda was refreshing and delightful.
