A cozy hideaway for chicken dishes

At Totsukawa Shuraku Takurata, you can enjoy exquisite chicken dishes made with carefully selected local chicken. They use two types of local chicken: Aoyama Kogen chicken and Yamato meat chicken, known for their fresh and unique textures. In a warm, homey atmosphere that features only counter seating, you can savor dishes that highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients.

The restaurant has a homey atmosphere and the service by the female staff is satisfactory. The seasonal blackboard menu is a delight, and there is a wide selection of sake. The yakitori sauce is a universal favorite and the chicken skin is crispy and delicious. The grilled rice balls are fully grilled, which is what we prefer, but there is a delicious selection of other dishes as well. It is a bit of a hassle to get home after a lot of drinking, but overall, the restaurant is very satisfying.
