The izakaya has an elegant atmosphere, making it just right for when you crave Japanese food. The sashimi is very fresh, and the rice is cooked to perfection. You can choose from dried fish like mackerel or hokke, which are plump, juicy, and lightly salted. The tempura rice bowl has a good balance of sauce and frying technique, making it easy to eat. The grilled chicken meatballs with asparagus and cheese have a fun texture from the cartilage, and the mixed fried dishes and fried chicken are also delicious. The seating is mainly in tatami rooms, with a counter available, and it's nice to be able to enjoy coffee after the meal.
