This is a lunch spot at an izakaya located in a quiet suburb, and entering right after it opens, the cheerful greeting from the staff feels nice. The fried chicken has a gentle aroma of ginger and spices, the batter is crispy, and the young chicken inside is surprisingly tender. The side dishes of cabbage, mizuna, and tomatoes add color, and their refreshing texture creates a pleasant rhythm. The simmered sea bream is well-infused with flavor from the head to the backbone, and the gelatinous texture and sweet-savory broth make the rice go down easily. In addition to the daily small dishes like homemade kimchi and vinegared glass noodles, there is also a miso soup made with homemade miso that has a rich dashi flavor, providing a high level of satisfaction. Since you can leisurely enjoy carefully prepared dishes, this is a place you naturally gravitate to when you want to enjoy lunch locally.
