After exploring the World Heritage Site of Hiraizumi, please enjoy a meal of excellent quality "Maesawa Beef", Iwate's brand beef, at our restaurant in front of Chuson-ji's Tsukimizaka Gate. Please choose from three types of beef in the remarks column: Yakiniku, Sukiyaki, or Shabu-Shabu.
This is a local dish consisting of three kinds of rice cakes (anko mochi, ginger mochi, and zoni mochi) served with mushroom rice. It has been a famous standard dish since the establishment of the restaurant.
Tsukimizaka Gozen 1,870 yen "Tsumire nabe" or "Hiraizumi Hatto nabe" This is a Japanese-style meal inspired by the ancient capital of Hiraizumi. This set meal comes with either tsumire nabe or hatto nabe, a local dish of Iwate Prefecture. It is also called "Hittsumi-nabe (Sutton-nabe)" and has a nostalgic flavor of the old days in Iwate.
