Uses Amakusa Shimon sweet potato. The health food Shimon sweet potato originated in Brazil and became a specialty product of Amakusa Kuradake Town. It is a type of white Satsuma sweet potato. Compared to regular Satsuma sweet potatoes, it contains an extraordinary amount of minerals and vitamins A, E, K, and dietary fiber. It is a precious sweet potato that can only be harvested once every two years.
The sweet potato shochu made from 100% sweet potatoes has a rich sweetness and aroma from Murasaki Masari.
