I made a reservation and went, and the warm atmosphere is calming. The course started with appetizers and cold soup, and I was able to enjoy dishes like bagna càuda and focaccia. The rich sauce paired well with both the vegetables and the bread, and I couldn't help but keep eating. The pasta included options with basil and seafood combinations, and the aroma was delightful and satisfying. For the main course, I could choose between fish or meat, and the fragrant dish of sea bream and the layered grilled Atsugi pork left a strong impression. The homemade cake at the end was simply delicious, and combined with the staff's thoughtful service, it made me feel happy.

A ramen restaurant famous for its soy sauce ramen and distinctive atmosphere located along the Sagami River.
It has been selected as one of the 100 best restaurants in the food log for three consecutive years.
Hon Atsugi is a fierce battleground for ramen, but this restaurant stands out from the crowd.
Both the exterior and interior of the restaurant are retro structures that make you feel as if you have stepped back in time to the Showa period.
The illustrations, game consoles, signs, and seats all give off a Showa-esque atmosphere. It is full of an analog feel.
The waitress is a young woman (in her 20s) who looks like she could be at a café, not a ramen shop. Moreover, the customer service is first-rate. Her attention to detail, energy, and quick menu guidance are very pleasant. This is also interesting because there is a gap between the atmosphere of the restaurant and that of the customers.
Most of the customers in the restaurant were men, so it is easy to come alone.
The menu I ordered was as follows
Weekday lunch set 891 yen
(Chinese noodles and chicken mayo bowl)
There was a special lunch set, so I chose it.
I thought the Chinese noodle was a traditional soy sauce ramen, but....
It was indeed heavily seasoned like old-fashioned soy sauce ramen.
But there is more to it than that.
The soup has a meaty richness as well as a bone broth, and it also incorporates the latest trends. The noodles also have elasticity and firmness, and they are well mixed with the soup. I saw ramen that is both "Showa" and "2025"!
I could tell that not only was the atmosphere well-received and the customer service excellent, but the taste was also very particular.
The high rating on the food log is also understandable.
I would recommend this place not only to soy sauce ramen lovers but also to gourmet food lovers.
I highly recommend you to try their timeless ramen.
Thank you very much.
A hidden gem with elegant Japanese cuisine and a tranquil atmosphere
Shunsai Mihiro offers delicate and refined Japanese dishes made with fresh ingredients. The interior is beautifully designed and stylish, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a calm setting. In particular, the rice cooked in a traditional earthen pot captivates visitors with its luster and exquisite flavor. Each dish showcases the chef's meticulous craftsmanship, providing new discoveries with every visit.
The interior is bright and allows for a calm and relaxing experience. The dishes are very delicious, valuing the quality of the ingredients while also showing a touch of creativity. The yuzu pepper served with the mushroom oroshi paired perfectly, and I was excited from the very first bite. The oil-poached mackerel, yuba salad, deep-fried avocado, and fluffy tempura all left a strong impression. The drinks include sake, shochu, whiskey, and organic wine, and they carefully select options based on your preferences. For the finale, the hand-made soba and Inaniwa udon were smooth and satisfying, leaving me very pleased.
The fluffy premium pancakes look delightful, and they jiggle when you shake them, which is irresistible. The knife glides right in, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture is light, making it one of the most memorable tastes I've ever had. The combination of baked apples and cream with a tea flavor, along with cinnamon and vanilla ice cream, pairs perfectly, allowing you to enjoy it until the very end. The store was bustling, but the staff guided us efficiently, making for a pleasant experience. I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of serving a little snack while we waited. The limited quantity menu items are popular, so if the timing is right, I definitely recommend giving them a try.
With a calm atmosphere, you can relax at the counter or at a table. You can see the preparation of sashimi right in front of you, which is impressive. The seafood rice bowl is topped with everything from blue fish to tender cuts, all of which are fresh and satisfying. It's fun to enjoy the lunch pasta with chopsticks, and the miso soup and pickles are a nice accent. You can take a moment to relax with coffee and unwind. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but you will feel fulfilled by the deliciousness of the fish and the sense of a well-presented dish.
In a calm Japanese-style space, you can spend your time slowly. Since it's a private style, you can enjoy yourself without worrying about those around you. The seaweed rice served at the beginning is fragrant and brings a smile to your face. The appetizers are varied, with each dish of vegetables and meat being carefully prepared and very delicious. The soba noodles have a great flavor, and even the bonito flakes on top are impressive. There is also a selection of sake and aged beer, which pair excellently with the dishes.
A New Restaurant to Savor the Depths of Miso Flavor
The soup, with its fragrant aroma unique to a miso specialty shop, carefully brings out the distinct characteristics of various misos from Hokkaido, Shinshu, and Hachioji, resulting in a rich yet light aftertaste. Playful toppings like grilled chashu and shrimp tempura enhance the thick soup, while the medium-thick curly noodles cling well, increasing satisfaction. The clean and inviting interior, along with the friendly staff, leaves a positive impression, making this a highly anticipated miso ramen specialty shop in Ebina.
