The natural catfish carpione had no strong taste and was deliciously harmonious. The chilled soup made from white corn was surprisingly sweet without using anything but salt, and it paired well with the mozzarella mousse. The homemade pasta, zucchini and whelk sauce, and the Omi duck and morel ragu were all well-balanced and very satisfying. The finishing touch of hazelnut torta and milk gelato had a gentle flavor, leaving a lasting feeling of happiness.
I visited Nishiki on Father's Day with my family. It was near the entrance to a private room, which my father, who has knee pain, enjoyed.
