I am happy to be able to enjoy a meal by the quiet riverside where a large waterwheel can be seen, while feeling the scent of wood. The first dish that was served, the zaru soba, is thick and has a firm texture, with a smooth finish that is excellent. The flavorful dipping sauce is light and enhances the aroma of the soba. The tempura of seasonal vegetables is crispy, and the sweetness of the ingredients spreads throughout the mouth. The small dishes like goya tsukudani and bamboo shoot sushi were also simple and enjoyable without getting boring. The time spent savoring locally produced soba while gazing at the clear flow of the river is a very luxurious and heartwarming experience.
