A masterpiece made with the popular Amakusa shimon imo among shochu fans. 'Shimon imo' is a variety of sweet potato that was brought to Japan from its country of origin, Brazil, in 1972 and became a specialty product of Kumamoto Prefecture known as 'Shirosatsuma imo'. It is rich in natural minerals, vitamins A, E, K, and fiber. Due to the abundant starch content of 'shimon imo', this sweet potato shochu has a very mellow taste, with a soft aroma and smooth mouthfeel as its distinctive features.
