Chi Lin Nunnery, where the store is located, was founded in 1934 by two founders, Jue Yi and Wei An. Its purpose is to promote Buddhist and Chinese culture, and through study, thought, and practice, to be rooted in the soil, to look at the world, and to work with the people on the right path of life to build a harmonious society.
