Only using 'Kogane Senkan' from Kagoshima, carefully cultivated by contract farmers whose faces can be seen. The sweetness of the seasonal sweet potato is preserved, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. It is delicious and pairs well with not only Japanese cuisine but any dish.
Unlike Tomino Housan, Kicchou Housan is brewed with black koji, offering a remarkable punchy richness and aroma. It has a robust and deep flavor that is sweet and smooth, and the moment it touches your mouth, an indescribable softness spreads. It is a shochu that remains flavorful no matter how long you drink it. Hot water dilution is also recommended. It is a shochu that boasts immense popularity, just like Tomino Housan.
Tomino Hozan, which played a role in igniting the shochu boom. It uses yellow koji like sake, and the mash is fermented at low temperatures like ginjo sake, resulting in a wonderfully fruity aroma, reminiscent of grapefruit. This shochu is highly recommended even for women or those who are not fond of imo shochu. It has now grown into a top brand of imo shochu, representing the genre.
This is a high-quality product made primarily from Nikaido barley shochu, stored for a relatively long time, carefully aged, and particularly focused on enhancing the aroma.
