Long-established omelette rice Hokkyokusei's main store in Shinsaibashi It is also famous for the restaurant that originated the omelette rice! The main store has a tasteful building with a Showa-esque atmosphere. It seems that many tourists come here. The long-established omelette restaurant, Hokkyokusei, has opened in Eki Marché Shin-Osaka! I'm a local, but there really wasn't much at Shin-Osaka Station! I've been thinking about it for years, even though it is a station where the Shinkansen stops. I'm really happy about the opening of Eki Marche! They serve omu-rice both eat-in and take-out! Eat-in customers are required to reserve a seat and place their order at the cash register. The menu is as follows Chicken omelet rice: 780 yen Mushroom omelet with rice Mentaiko and seafood omelette rice Hayashi omelette rice 1,180 yen Beef Curry Omurice Salad omelet with rice (Shin-Osaka only) I like omelette with butter rice and hashed sauce So I choose the Hayashi Omelet without hesitation! I was given a number slip and waited for my seat. It wasn't long before we were served! The omelette rice is beautifully and evenly wrapped! Butter rice inside, of course! There's plenty of hashed meat on top, so it's nice to be able to eat it while mixing it with the sauce! I don't think it's particularly tasty, but it's a long-established restaurant! There is a sense of stability in the taste. My partner seems to like omelette rice, so I took it out for him! Chicken omelet with rice The sauce was in a separate container! Looks like the chicken is wrapped in ketchup rice. I was delighted to bring it home freshly made! But the hashed meat is 1,180 yen! Chicken was 780 yen, so I guess it was about the same... I'd be happy if the price could be a little less than 1,000 yen. Thank you very much for the food!
