A slightly orange-tinted deep ruby. Ripe plum, cherry, cedar, conifer, herbs, licorice, and a hint of toasted aroma can be felt. The tannins are fine and astringent, with a supple soft acidity that lingers, balancing the whole and creating a refined taste with structure. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Deep ruby color. It starts with a reductive impression of Syrah, followed by elegant notes of blackberry, vanilla, caramel, and black pepper that consistently emerge. The taste is characterized by strong ripe fruit flavors, perfectly extracted moderate tannins, and a wonderful structure. The grapes from Montalcino in Tuscany are 100% Sangiovese Grosso. Sangiovese Grosso, also known as 'Brunello,' is a subspecies of Sangiovese, and compared to regular Sangiovese, it has larger berries and thicker skins, resulting in a rich full-bodied wine. Brunello di Montalcino requires a minimum aging of 5 years (with 24 months in wooden barrels). Its flavor is marked by abundant fruitiness and strong tannins with a smooth mouthfeel. Additionally, its younger counterpart, Rosso di Montalcino, has a shorter aging period of at least 1 year (with 6 months in wooden barrels), resulting in a fresh and fruity taste.
A slightly full-bodied winery from the Grand Serre in southern France, featuring Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault from 20 hectares. The soil is clay-limestone, sand, and gravel. The vines are 35 to 40 years old. It has a deep purplish hue with aromas of fruits like cassis and plum, along with herbal notes reminiscent of thyme typical of southern France.
