However, using the high-quality pork that we carefully select would inevitably raise the price, which conflicted with the image of katsu sandwiches at that time, preventing us from commercializing it. The turning point came with our 30th anniversary two years ago. There was a growing momentum within the company to 'challenge new things and bring more joy to our customers,' leading to the launch of the long-requested katsu sandwich development project.
