This is a sake made using delicate brewing techniques that produce the sake 'Tōrikishi' and incorporates the abundant natural blessings of strawberries from Tochigi Prefecture, specifically 'Tochiotome', crafted through a unique brewing process. The brewery, 'Tōrikishi', is operated by Shimazaki Sake Brewery, founded in the second year of the Kaei era (1849) in Nasu Kuroiwa City, Tochigi Prefecture. The second generation, Kumakichi, named the sake 'Tōrikishi' due to his unparalleled love for sumo. Using the clear waters of the Nakagawa River, which springs from Mount Nasu, as brewing water, they engage in meticulous sake production daily, aiming to create fine sake with high-quality raw rice in a blessed natural environment.
