I thought there was a new restaurant being built in the 3rd building, and that it was super full. My work is close by and I go there for lunch and such, but I was curious because it had been under construction for a while! I had no idea it was a sushi and izakaya restaurant! I went there with a group of gourmet friends side by side! The menu seemed pretty cosy! Sours and such are pretty good value at 290 yen. I was hungry, so my friends and I argued about what we wanted to eat lol. The first thing I was curious about was the mackerel can salad! Chopped onions come out on top of the canned mackerel. Turn it over on a plate and bourne! Mix it up and voila! The onions were a little spicy, but it looks great and I like canned mackerel, so I personally highly recommend it! Some things, such as bakudan, you can't tell what kind of things are in it just by the name! If you go to seafood taverns or other places often, you'll know what it is! I ate it mixed with rice and it was amazing. It's the kind you need to eat with rice. There are also sushi sets such as tuna sammai and salmon sammai, which are also good deals. For 480 yen, you can get a set that includes red meat, pickled fish, and chutoro (medium fatty tuna). For sushi rolls, we recommend the Torotakumaki! The extremely tender tororo is popping out in a luxurious way ✧*٩٩_٩_. The seasonal dish I recommend is the Wakatake no Kinome-age (fried bamboo shoots)! It's simple, but soooo delicious. It tasted more like a good Japanese restaurant than an izakaya. For 480 yen, you can have a piece of unagi, The meat was thick, but extremely tender. The unodan (sea urchin) is also very tasty for the price! I eat it in a rounded bite. ''\(ω`)/''''\(ω)/''' ''\ \(ω`)/''' The quail egg spiced menu item is quite curry flavored and can be served as a snack. 280 yen is cheap and a bargain. The potato salad is also topped with tobiko and other things that make it look great! The restaurant has a counter and several tables for two next to it, with seating for four or two in the back. It may not be suitable for groups, but the back of the restaurant can accommodate a total of six people, so you may want to call and ask. I had the shellfish soup to finish off the meal, and it was delicious. I sipped the sweet miso soup while eating the clams. I think it might be barley miso, but it tasted very nostalgic. There is a line every day, so you may have to wait a bit during peak hours, but it's worth it, so please stop by. I'm sure I'll be back many times. Thanks for the food!
