A fine product made from highly polished rice flour that comes from the production process of premium sake and also includes sake lees from Daiginjo. It is blended with original sake that has been aged for over 10 years and original sake that has been aged for about a year in old sherry casks. This Himeji-produced rice shochu has a pleasant fruity aroma from the Daiginjo and a sweet vanilla-like scent derived from the sherry cask.
Amami brown sugar and rice malt brown sugar shochu is a type of shochu that is produced only in the southern part of Kagoshima Prefecture, specifically in the Amami Islands. This 'Rento' is uniquely matured using a method called 'acoustic aging,' where it is slowly aged while being exposed to symphonies for about three months, resulting in a smooth finish.
