⚫︎About the meat
Sagari, thick cut Sagari, Harami, assorted hormones, Mino, all very tasty. The seasoning is not too strong nor too light, just right. The portions are a bit on the elegant side, but I think the quality is high.
I did not try the tongue and ribs, so I would like to try them next time. I was also interested in the grilled shabu and yagen cartilage.
About ⚫︎ sauce
It is a dry type with ginger and a little sweetness. There is rock salt and black pepper provided at the table, and gochujang (red pepper paste) is also provided so that you can arrange it in your own way. The basic taste may be gentle so that even children can eat it.
⚫︎About the side menu
There is a large assortment of side dishes, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes every time you visit the restaurant.
We ordered 3 kinds of Namul (bean sprouts, cucumbers, and greens), tomato namul, daikon kimchi, white pickled bamboo shoots, and ponzu (citrus juice) mino.
I especially liked the tomato namul and mino (minced chicken) with yubiki ponzu sauce. The daikon kimchi had the spiciness of summer radish, so perhaps the kimchi is homemade as well.
⚫︎About the shime
I ordered cold noodles topped with slices of smoked duck and a dashimaki egg. The soup was light, but the flavor of the smoked meat blended into the soup and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely repeat this dish next time.
⚫︎About the drinks
Draft beer is Asahi Super Dry.
Bottled beer is available from Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo, which is very nice for beer drinkers. The Sapporo is not Black Label, but Akahoshi, which is nice.
⚫︎About the customer service
The first female waitress who greeted me when I opened the door had a pleasant smile, and that alone made me feel that this was a restaurant that was a hit. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was happy to get off to a good start!
In the end, the male owner of the kitchen & all three female waitstaff were pleasant to deal with, and my hunch was right on target.
⚫︎ about the speed of serving
Since we don't always eat rice when we barbecue, our meat is cooked at a very fast pace. In other words, we eat meat as an accompaniment to sake, so we want to reduce the time we have no meat to grill as much as possible. This is completely selfish of us, but we would have appreciated it if the serving speed was a little faster.
Since there is no such thing as an appetizer at the beginning, it would be helpful for the sake drinkers if there is a genre of "quick snacks" on the menu. A handwritten pop-up on the tabletop might also be a good idea.
⚫︎About the interior of the restaurant
The restaurant has been open for about six months, and the atmosphere is very clean and bright, which is pleasant.
The restrooms were well cleaned.
The tables have a blindfolded cloth between them and the aisle, so you can eat in a semi-private room and feel calm.
There is also counter seating, so you can enjoy yakiniku by yourself.
The meat was very tasty and I ate quite a bit too much!
The waitstaff was also very nice and soothing. I was on a business trip from Ehime, but I would definitely go back there outside of work. Next time I will bring my family as well!
Thank you very much😊
The meat was good and ❗️ delicious. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is clean. The service is cheerful, crisp, and pleasant.
You can make reservations, which is a big difference from the other nearby yakiniku restaurants where you can't make reservations and the owner has poor customer service.
I have added this restaurant to my list of places I would like to go again with family, friends, etc. Thank you.
The meat, the alcohol, and the staff are all excellent. However, I would like them to bring back the 'green onions' that used to come with the tongue salt.
