It is a high-end restaurant, but the atmosphere created by the chef and the staff was not stiff and it was a wonderful space. Naturally, the food was delicious. Personally, the rice was just perfect. For those who drink sake, I highly recommend pairing it with the Etsu Kaijin from Kagawa, as it is the best!!

In a quiet atmosphere deep in the alley, the sunken kotatsu seats and open counter are comfortable. The chef prepares dishes using fish from the Setouchi region, selected every morning, allowing you to feel the seasons. The sashimi of sea bream, squid, and Spanish mackerel is chewy and rich in flavor, and a little squeeze of sudachi enhances the aroma. The grilled ribbonfish and tempura of eel are also impressive, with salt and sudachi highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Each dish served as part of the omakase is beautifully presented, making it a visual delight as well. There is a wide variety of sake, and the time spent drinking while watching the chef at the counter is very enjoyable.
It's a shop like a hideaway, and the Japanese modern interior is very calming. The sweet and spicy fried tofu that came out first was well-soaked in flavor, making me want to drink more. The dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelette) was fluffy and thin, with plenty of flavorful dashi, and it was impressively delicious. The duck soba had a fragrant broth and firm soba noodles that kept me engrossed until the end. The tempura and pickled vegetables were also beautifully presented, conveying a sense of care in each dish. There is a wide variety of sake and whiskey, and I appreciate that the staff readily responds to questions about the strength of the drinks.

A popular izakaya with a big box where you can get everything from Kagawa specialties and seafood to meat.
After seeing a live concert, we visited "Natsu" with an empty stomach.
The restaurant is a popular izakaya, and although it is a large box, it is packed with customers.
The menu was full of what we wanted to eat, and after a long time of worrying, we finally came to order, but neither the sake nor the dishes came out easily, so we left the restaurant in tears with only sashimi because we were hungry.
I would like to visit this restaurant again on a free day.

The location was convenient, and I was able to arrive without getting lost. I enjoyed my meal slowly at the counter seats. There were also tatami rooms and private rooms in the back, which I felt were easy to use according to the number of people. The fresh seafood from the Setouchi region was abundant, and the liver of the flatfish, simmered sea bream, and grilled mackerel with green onion miso were all very delicious. I also enjoyed local flavors such as soy sauce beans, bone-in chicken, and bukkake udon. There was a wide selection of sake, and I could also choose shochu, and I was able to fully enjoy sushi as a finale.
