In a quiet corner of Maizuru, the shop has a comfortable counter and tables where you can sit and relax. The eel from Lake Hamana, finished over charcoal, has a tender and fluffy texture, and the sweet sauce pairs well with the rice. The young eel has few small bones and melts in your mouth, making it hard to put down your chopsticks. The soup with large pieces of liver is also elegant, and I enjoyed the aroma as well.
