It's a small shop centered around the counter, with a Showa-era atmosphere that is calming. The eel, carefully grilled after being steamed, is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, making it the best. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and a pleasant aroma, pairing perfectly with the rice. The eel rice bowl comes with liver soup, pickles, and vinegared mozuku seaweed, providing a sense of satisfaction. The small bowl of black beans is also cooked to tenderness and was very delicious. The tea served warms the heart, and combined with the old-fashioned charm, it made for an enjoyable meal.
