The building is located by the river and has a simple exterior, but upon entering, I was surprised by how impressive it was with its wooden flooring and a large table made from a single slab of wood. You can relax by taking off your shoes and sitting on a cushion while gazing at the flowing water through the window. The specialty sweetfish set meal features two grilled fish that look adorable as if they are swimming together. When dipped in the fragrant sweet and spicy miso, I couldn't stop eating the rice, and I enjoyed every part of the fish from head to tail. The deep-fried sweetfish is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, providing a different kind of delight compared to the grilled version. The tempura of wild vegetables, the simmered bracken, and even the small soba noodles were all carefully prepared, making for a heartwarming and satisfying meal until the very end.
