We stopped by during our hike and enjoyed simple dishes. The vegetable curry, with its fragrant aroma and rich sauce, was satisfying. The dashi for the oden and the miso soup were comforting, and the rice balls were gently shaped, providing a sense of relief. The mountain vegetable ohitashi for dinner and the crispy tonkatsu were also impressive, making the rice go down easily. We were able to refresh ourselves in the wooden bathtub, and the bedding was comfortable. Each item had a careful handmade feel, making it a place where the fatigue of travel gently fades away.
