This small shop along the main street in Himeji has a warm atmosphere. The bright service welcomes you, making you feel relaxed the moment you sit down. The tonkatsu that arrives is crispy, and the slightly sweet and sour special sauce coats it well. The pork inside is tender and juicy, and the cabbage and spaghetti served on the side provide a nice change in texture. The glossy rice and hearty tonjiru (pork miso soup) pair perfectly, giving a sense of cohesion like Western cuisine. By the time I finished eating, I naturally had a smile on my face and felt a warm, happy mood.
