A store worth going to from Tokyo to Ofuna. This is a sweets store, but I strongly recommend the bread. Of course, the cakes are delicious. It was originally made by a founding member of Atesway (brother of the Tanaka brothers), and it seems that the brother is in charge of the bread! I haven't eaten it yet, but the curry bread is made to order and deep fried! I really regret it. I wish I could have had it... The shortcake is really light and easy to eat. The baked goods are also delicious. Definitely a place to revisit. Check it out!

A famous cake and bread store that has been awarded the "Eating Log 100 Best Restaurants" for two consecutive years. It is rare to find a store run by brothers that offers both cakes and breads together as their main business. The only other shop that has been selected as one of the 100 best stores is "Archaic" in Kawaguchi, Saitama, which has also been selected as one of the 100 best stores. There is also a branch in Kamakura that specializes in chocolate. The store itself is small, so if you are not conscious of it, you might pass it by. The yellowish-green exterior has a slightly Disneyesque feel. When you enter the store, there are bread cases on the right and left, and cake cases in the front. There is no eat-in space, so only take-out is available. The baumkuchen is recommended, but it was sold out as it was close to closing time. Ordering menu Fromage cru 496 yen Croissant Vanille 362 yen Sibouste 550 yen This time, I decided to tie up with cakes. ♦Fromage cru A combination of a soufflé cheesecake and a rare cheesecake. The cream was the thickest cheesecake I have ever eaten. It was so thick that I felt it melt in my mouth and disappear. The sweetness is moderate, and the cheesiness is front and center, making it an elegant cake. Croissant Vanille A popular croissant sandwiched between fresh cream and custard. It is finished with vanilla sugar. This is a product with the quality that only a sweets shop that has mastered both cakes and breads can offer. It is extremely sweet, but it does not have a sticky sweetness that lingers on the palate, so it was surprisingly easy to eat. ♦Ciboost I was curious about this new product, so I bought it. It is a caramel cake with crème gibouste on top of the tart. The bottom of the cake is stuffed with cranberries, so the caramel is not too assertive. Alcohol accents the cake, making it an adult sweet. Compared to cakes in Tokyo, the price is low and the quality is high. I heard that they have Mont Blanc as a recommended item, so I would like to come back when the time comes. Next time, I would like to buy bread as well. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
