As I entered the cute café right by the station, I was excited to see a row of breads lined up behind the blue door. After settling the payment first, I ordered a bread set that I could choose from, selecting shiitake mushroom bread and baked curry bread. The bread with a whole large shiitake mushroom inside was rich in aroma, and each bite released a juicy flavor. The accompanying salad came with a homemade ginger and walnut dressing, and the soup had a comforting onion gratin flavor. The dough made from 100% Hanamanten from Saitama Prefecture is free of eggs and dairy, which is delightful as it has a soft and chewy texture. Takeout is also available, so it seems fun to choose colorful vegetable bread or apple bread as souvenirs.
