This is a small, calming café located in a quiet spot just a little off the Yufuin Tsuji Road towards the river. The interior has a gentle atmosphere, allowing for a leisurely time. The sandwiches made with local organic vegetables are fragrant, and the combination of ingredients is satisfying. The handmade Yufuin shiso syrup soda is refreshing and has a pleasant mouthfeel. There is also seasonal shaved ice, and the matcha type has fluffy ice that pairs well with the shiratama (rice dumplings) and red beans. There is a selection of lighter menu items like sandwiches and curry, making it perfect for a stop during a stroll.
